The Central America and The Caribbean Roundtable

El 27 de febrero en la Haus zum Rüden de Zúrich se desarrolló la Mesa Redonde sobre Centroamérica y el Caribe. Luego de las palabras de bienvenida de Elena Arozerena en representación de la LatCam, el Ministro Philippe Nell se refirió con cifras y documentos al apoyo, sobre el nuevo foco comercial que significa Centroamérica en el mundo de las relaciones de libre comercio. Al ex Embajador de Panamá Rogelio Tribaldos le correspondió abordar el tema de Panamá, cuya actualidad está destacada por el Canal.  Al final de la primera parte fue el Ministro Consejero de la Embajada de la Rep. Dominicana en Suiza que ilustró aspectos de su país. La segunda parte empezó con una interesante presentación de Edgar Sánchez Wilke, director de Northern Europe PROCOMER. Del banco Julius Bär, fue Blanca de Castro que intervino, seguida por Yvonne Vásquez, directora de Cocoa PRONATEC. Finalmente Ulrich Hinterberger de Switzerland Global Enterprise se refirió al sostén que se brinda al empresariado suizo en Centroamérica y el Caribe.

Estuvieron presentes representantes del mundo político, económico, diplomático, empresarial, bancario y dos redactores de PuntoLatino.
